Sister Chang Lee Kyun, True Jesus Church Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia

In the name of the Lord Jesus, I would like to testify about how, through God’s abundant grace, my cancer has been healed.

I am Sister Chang Lee Kyun, and I currently reside in Bintulu, a coastal town in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia (2024).

As early as June 2022, I noticed a lump in my left breast, and I suspected it was a symptom of breast cancer. However, I did not consult any doctor for a check-up, as it was something I didn’t want to confront.

It wasn’t until a year later, after receiving advice and encouragement from Mrs. preacher and Deacon, that I decided to visit Bintulu Hospital in November 2023. At that time, the doctor performed a mammogram and other tests. The result showed that cancer has spread to my lungs and lymph nodes. At that point, I didn’t feel any symptoms related to my lungs or lymph nodes.

The doctor then informed me that I needed to undergo a CT scan to determine if the cancer had spread to my bones. Since Bintulu Hospital didn’t have a CT scanning machine, I had to go to Kuching Hospital for the scan. Meanwhile, the doctor took a sample from my breast for a biopsy.

During my visit to Kuching Hospital, a very thorough CT scan was conducted, which I vividly remember took over an hour.

After the procedure, it was confirmed that the cancer had indeed spread to several parts of my bones.

On 18th December 2023, the doctor confirmed that I was considered a stage 4 cancer patient. The diagnosis can be summarized as follows:

• Invasive lobular carcinoma of the breast
• Bone cancer
• Lymphoma cancer (lymph nodes)
• Lung cancer

I remember feeling very anxious and lost at that time. However, I reached out to our church brethren in Sabah and Sarawak for prayers, and from them, I received much encouragement, love, and comfort.By March 2024, my weight had dropped from 76kg to just 58kg, as shown in the photo (pictured with my niece) below :

In the same month, I was again advised to go to Kuching Hospital for another CT scan to check if the cancer had spread to areas such as the abdomen or colon. Thank God, the result was negative.During a laying of hands prayer session on 13th April 2024, which was also the day of Bintulu church’s dedication, I felt God’s powerful yet comforting and loving presence descend upon me and flow through me from my head. After the prayer, a persistent issue with my left knee, which had been troubling me since my cancer diagnosis, was miraculously healed. At that moment, I felt very alert and energetic.

When I returned to see the doctor in May 2024, the doctor said I needed to undergo chemotherapy at Kuching Hospital. However, upon arrival, the doctor at Kuching Hospital was surprised by the sudden improvement in my health and decided that I should continue with medication instead of undergoing chemotherapy. I was so happy and kept thanking and glorifying God in front of the doctor.

After returning to Bintulu and following a month of medication, the doctor at Bintulu Hospital declared that my health was good after reviewing my blood test report.

Now, in October 2024, I am in good health and have regained my appetite. My weight has also returned to 68.5 kg.

Thank God for His abundant grace and mercy. This is also a timely opportunity for me to reflect and pray to seek God’s will and direction for my life.
